Last updated: November 2026. This policy covers this website and enquiries sent through it.
When you send an enquiry we receive the name, company, country, email address and any message or drawing you attach. If you email us directly, we receive whatever that email contains.
The website does not set advertising cookies and does not run third-party tracking scripts. Language preference is stored in your own browser, not on our server.
To answer your enquiry, quote the part, and keep a record of what was agreed. Drawings are held so that a repeat order can be made against the same revision.
The engineering and sales team. Drawings are not shared with other customers, and are not published. Where a process is subcontracted — heat treatment, for example — only the information needed for that step is passed on.
Enquiry records and drawings are kept while there is an active commercial relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that repeat orders and warranty questions can be answered. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is your language choice, saved locally so that the next visit opens in the same language. Clearing your browser data removes it, and nothing about it reaches our server.
The enquiry form does not submit to a database on this site. It hands the details to your own mail client, which means the message travels through your email provider rather than through a web form processor.
The site is served over HTTPS. Drawings received by email are stored on the engineering file server, not on individual machines, and access is limited to the people who need the drawing to make or inspect the part. We do not use customer drawings in marketing material.
Heat treatment, anodising, passivation and pickling are carried out by established partners. They receive the part, the material and the process specification. They do not receive the assembly drawing or the customer's identity, because neither is needed to run the process.
We are based in China, so an enquiry sent from Europe or North America necessarily reaches a server here. If your organisation requires a data transfer agreement before sending drawings, say so at the first contact and we will sign it rather than ask you to proceed without one.
If the policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes affecting how drawings are handled will be mentioned in the next email to existing customers, not only here.
Write to sales@yhpmachining.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will answer within a reasonable period and will not ask you to justify the request.

Tell us the part, the material and the quantity. An engineer reviews your drawing and replies within one working day — usually with a suggestion on how to make it cheaper.
