A subcontract machine shop in Fenggang, Dongguan: nine processes, one engineer per job, and inspection reports that travel with the parts.

YHP Machining has been making parts for other people's drawings since 2009. The shop started with turning and milling, and grew by adding the processes customers kept asking us to subcontract — gear cutting, grinding, EDM, tooling and moulding. Each one was added because sending the work out was costing our customers time and tolerance.
What that means in practice is that a part which needs four processes does not need four purchase orders. It needs one drawing, one datum chain and one person who knows what the part is for.
The shop
Machining, tooling, moulding, inspection and packing are handled here in Fenggang, Dongguan. There is no trading layer between you and the people making the part, and no third party to blame when something moves.
Quotations come from the engineer who will run the job, not from a sales desk reading a rate card.
Heat treatment is done by established partners, not in-house. We do not run Swiss-type turning below 4 mm bar, we do not offer cleanroom assembly, and we do not claim certifications we do not hold.
Where a job is outside what we do well, we say so at quotation — that is cheaper for both sides than discovering it in the third batch.
How we work
The person who quoted the part answers the phone about it. Nothing is handed to an account manager once the order is placed.
We read the drawing before we quote it, and tell you what will be expensive. Sometimes the answer is a different process, not a better price.
If a feature is outside what we can do repeatably, it is written down at quotation stage — not discovered at first article.
No. 8 Keji Road, Fenggang Town, Dongguan, Guangdong 523690, China.
Fenggang sits inside the Shenzhen–Dongguan manufacturing belt, which is why material, tooling and treatment partners are hours away rather than weeks.
Most of our customers are outside China. Quotations are in English, drawings are reviewed by an English-speaking engineer, and shipping documents are prepared for the destination rather than for the port.
NDA available before you send anything.
Working with us
Most of our customers are outside China, mainly in Europe, North America and Southeast Asia. Quotations, drawings and reports are in English, and shipping documents are prepared for the destination rather than for the port of loading.
One piece, if it is a prototype. There is a setup cost on a single part and we say so up front, but we would rather quote it than turn it away. Several of our production customers started with one sample.
You do. They are used to quote and to make your parts, they are not shared with other customers, and they are not published. We sign an NDA before you send anything if you prefer.
The first article usually catches it before the run continues, and we tell you rather than shipping it. If a bad part reaches you, it is made again at our cost or credited. The inspection report is what settles that argument, which is why it ships with the parts.
Where it happens

Request a quotation
Tell us the part, the material and the quantity. An engineer reviews your drawing and replies within one working day — usually with a suggestion on how to make it cheaper.
